In August, I completed the Masters of Library Science program at The University of North Texas. I began the program in August, two years ago, with a 35-member cohort. Each of us received a scholarship from The Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Laura Bush Foundation to promote librarianship for the digital age. Now, I am trained as a 21st century librarian with
information skills that are necessary in this new digital age.
With experience in using technologies such as Drupal, EADS, MODS, and Dublin Core, I am better prepared to capture attributes that promote access to materials through a greater understanding of the information seeking skills that traverse our world.
